Could Cannabis Benefit You?

Let’s talk about the importance of cannabis. Cannabis has so many positive outcomes on mental illnesses and health conditions. “Marijuana has natural compounds called cannabinoids. When you use it, these cannabinoids go into your body and look for the receptors. In turn they change how the receptors work, and they can calm down pain signals.”  

Mental Illnesses have a huge impact on people’s everyday life. It could impact someone’s life to the point of suicide. Luckily cannabis has proven to help most people with depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, bipolar, etc. What makes cannabis extra special is that it’s helped prevent suicide. Marijuana has also shown to have improved mood regulations, improved sleep, and boosted moods. 

When it comes to health conditions it helps anybody that has joint pains, cancer, headaches, and even diseases. So let’s talk about breast cancer to be specific. Studies have shown that, “Overall, patients revealed a high level of interest in the use of medical cannabis. According to the abstract 42% of surveyed patients reported using medical cannabis to treat both the symptoms of breast cancer and the side effects of treatment.” Now joint pains, “Cannabinoids have also stopped the transmission of pain and decreased inflammation, and that’s very important for people with joint issues.” 

A study in Consciousness and Cognition found that marijuana made people more creative. Scientists also quoted,  ‘We investigated the effects of cannabis smoked naturalistically on schizotypy and divergent thinking, a measure of creativity.

164 cannabis users were tested on 1 day when sober and another day when intoxicated with cannabis. Cannabis was proven to increase verbal fluency in low creatives to the same level as that of high creatives, this was proved by multiple cannabis users.
